Weeks out from his UFC 152 bout with Brian Stann, brash Brit Michael Bisping has revealed the future might see him heading back to light heavyweight where he started out after his winning ways on the Ultimate Fighter 3 and immediately after claiming the season’s championship.

Bisping was asked if he would consider going back up during a recent chat with Yahoo Sports where he joked, “I think about it every time I want to eat pizza and can’t.”

“I was 15-1 at 205 pounds, but 185 pounds is where I should be right now,” he added on a more serious note, admitting he had truthfully considered a return at some point down the road.

Bisping was undefeated at 14-0 when he fought future UFC light heavyweight champ Rashad Evans and lost via Split Decision. Bisping then announced that he would be dropping down a weight class. He has since gone 8-3 at middleweight.

“The Count” will be looking to rebound from a controversial decision loss to former #1 contender Chael Sonnen when he locks horns with Stann. The two are set to fight on September 22 on a card also featuring title-fights between Jon Jones-Vitor Belfort and Joseph Benavidez-Demetrious Johnson.
