Less than two weeks ago beloved bantamweight Miguel Torres announced he’d inked a deal with Titan FC with a November 2 debut on the horizon. However, it looks like the 31-year old will instead be taking to the cage a day later when the newly-formed World Series of Fighting‘s first event unfolds from Las Vegas.

WSoF officials confirmed Torres had signed on to the roster by way of Twitter after MMAFighting initially reported the move. The promotion has a press conference scheduled for September 6 where more details are expected to surface surround the November 3 show. Other fighters linked to the company include Roger Huerta, Gilbert Yvel, and Thales Leites.

Torres is coming off a knockout loss inside the Octagon after having won three of his four previous bouts. A former WEC champion, Torres holds an overall record of 40-5 with 32 finishes and past wins over the likes of Antonio Banuelos, Chase Beebe, and Takeya Mizugaki.
