Once the MMA world embraced that there would be no title-fight between UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones and challenger Dan Henderson on September 1, let alone an event, everyone began asking,”What about the other fights?” Certainly the UFC matchmaking team has been tearing through the since-scrapped UFC 151 card to reschedule the remaining rumbles, and, according to an official announcement, two more bouts now have a new date – December 8 at UFC on FOX 5.

The two tilts in question involve those between UFC newcomer Abel Trujillo (9-4) and Tim Means (18-3-1), as well as Daron Cruickshank and Henry Martinez.

While Trujillo will be making his Octagon debut, Means  is now on a nine-fight wining streak including a pair of wins in the Octagon. Comparably, Trujillo, has put together a quartet of consecutive clashes ultimately resulting in his call from the UFC.

Cruickshank (11-2) last fought at the TUF Live Finale after appearing on the attached season and was able to beat fellow cast-mate Chris Tickle to earn a slot on the company’s roster. Martinez came into the UFC on short notice to fight Matt Riddle, and although he lost that fight he was able to rebound with a win over Bernardo Magalhaes in June at UFC on FX 3.

To date the only fight formerly attached to UFC without a new home is a meeting between Eddie Yagin and Dennis Siver.
