While a number of the match-ups scheduled for the since-cancelled UFC 151 lineup have been assigned new events, a few fights still haven’t found a home yet including the main card clash between Eddie Yagin (16-5-1) and Dennis Siver (20-8).

In a statement to Five Ounces of Pain, Yagin’s manager – Jason House from Iridium Sports Agency –  revealed the wheels are in motion but nothing has been confirmed yet.

“(Matchmaker) Sean Shelby said he would be rebook the fight as soon as possible,” said House. “Right now, we are just trying to make sure Eddie has the finances to get through another camp.”

Twitter was full of UFC 151 fighters complaining about missing/delayed paychecks when the UFC President Dana White announced the event was being axed.

“Thankfully, Fear the Fighter is still going to pay Eddie. That was really nice of them,” added House about one of Yagin’s main sponsors.

UFC 151 was shut down earlier in the week when it was announced Dan Henderson was injured and out of the headlining title-bout with current light heavyweight champion Jon Jones. A suitable replacement couldn’t be secured for Henderson in terms of an adversary Jones was comfortable facing and, as a result, UFC officials elected to cancel the card.
