The UFC is wasting no time in trying to salvage the fights left in limbo after yesterday’s cancellation of the card formerly known as UFC 151. As reported earlier, Jay Hieron‘s bout with Jake Ellenberger has been moved to the co-main event slot on the UFC on FX 5 card in Minneapolis, Minnesota on October 5, but now it appears the organization has added two more fights to the card as well previously scheduled to take place on September 1.

Lightweights Danny Castillo (14-4) and Michael Johnson (11-6), who were scheduled to headline the FX-prelims portion of UFC 151, as well as a bout between Shane Roller (11-6) and Jacob Volkman (14-3), have all been shifted to UFC on FX 5.

Castillo is currently riding a three-fight winning streak, while Johnson is coming off the biggest win of his young career after completely outclassing TUF winner Tony Ferguson in May.

Meanwhile, Roller and Volkmann are two of the division’s best grapplers but should be a legitimate test for one another given their wrestling backgrounds.

UFC On FX 5 will feature preliminary fights airing on Fuel TV. The main card is set to be headlined by heavyweights Travis Browne and Antonio Silva.
