Two of the UFC’s hottest featherweights have apparently agreed to a September 22 scrap with one man exiting the Octagon as a legitimate title-contender and the other headed back to the drawing board. According to multiple reports, Cub Swanson and Charles Oliveira will face off at UFC 152 in Toronto. Each enters the bout on a two-fight winning streak.

MMAFighting was first to break news of the match-up. The show is headlined by a bout between Demetrious Johnson-Joseph Benavidez poised to determine the organization’s inaugural flyweight champion with Michael Bisping-Brian Stann and Rory MacDonald-B.J. Penn also attached to the card.

The 16-2 Oliveira is 2-0 since dropping down to 145 pounds earlier this year including submissions of Eric Wisely and Jonathan Brookins.

Meanwhile, the well-rounded Swanson has looked better than ever en route to knockout victories against George Roop and Ross Pearson. He holds an overall record of 17-5 with thirteen finishes including a near-even split between TKOs/submissions.
