About a month before she takes to the Strikeforce cage to defend her bantamweight title against Sarah Kaufman, unbeaten women’s champion Ronda Rousey will find herself in a position far more vulnerable than those she’s used to as part of ESPN Magazine’s annual “Body” issue. The feature presents athletes, both male and female, in various states of undress while highlighting their physiques.

ESPN confirmed Rousey’s selection for the July 13 edition of the magazine earlier today. She will join Gina Carano and Cristiane Santos as female fighters to have posed for the publication.

Though she didn’t release an official comment on the matter, Rousey did assure fans she gave it a lot of thought, taking to Twitter to write, “We had a discussion as a family about it. Even my little sis was involved. We all agreed it would be okay.”

An Olympic medaling Judoka, Rousey will meet Kaufman on August 18 in headlining action on a Showtime-bound card. She is currently 5-0 in his career with all of the wins involving an opening round Armbar finish.
