In a little more than a month Dustin Poirier will compete in the biggest fight of his career, facing Chan Sung Jung in headlining action at UFC on Fuel 3 in what may ultimately be a bout for top contendership in the featherweight division. As you might expect, Poirier has been training hard in Louisiana to make sure he’s ready for anything “The Korean Zombie” has to offer on May 15.

Poirier’s roots are planted firmly in the region where he came up from a relative unknown to become one of the top 145ers in MMA under the tutelage of Tim Credeur. Much of the process was caught and filmed for a documentary called Fightville that is set for On Demand release this Friday. (Editor’s Note: I’ve seen Fightville and it’s fantastic!)

Now, in promotion of both his upcoming fight against Jung and the widespread debut of Fightville, a video has surfaced of Poirier discussing the bout while zombies descend on his gym.

“He’s going to bring the best out of me and I’m prepared for that. I want that battle. I want to fight and I want to bleed and I want to learn about myself,” explained the 23-year old, still blissfully ignorant of the walking dead headed his way.
