The talent-sharing agreement between Asian promotions DREAM and ONE FC will be in full effect next month, as the latter organization announced Tatsuya Kawajiri would fight under their banner on March 31 marking one of the few times “Crusher” has competed outside of his native Japan.

Kawajiri, known primarily for his work in PRIDE/DREAM, is currently on a three-fight winning streak with a trio of finishes including victories over Drew Fickett and Joachim Hansen. He holds an overall record of 30-7 with other notable instances of success coming against Vitor Ribeiro, Gesias Cavalcante, Josh Thomson, and Yves Edwards.

No opponent was mentioned for Kawajiri though a few other match-ups were announced with submission specialist Masakazu Imanari taking on Kevin Belingon and Filipino star Eduard Folayang fighting Ole Laursen. It is also unknown what weight the longtime lightweight, newly-anointed featherweight Kawajiri will compete at.

ONE FC 3 is set to take place at Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore. The promotion has already put on a pair of successful events since making their official debut last year, drawing in a number of fans intrigued by the unique rule-set allowing for PRIDE-style rules including kicks to downed opponents.
