For the second year in a row, Strikeforce will return to the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio to run an event in conjunction with the annual Arnold Sports Festival. During last night’s broadcast of Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Jardine, the organization officially confirmed four bouts for the card, including the previously rumored women’s bantamweight title fight between champion Miesha Tate and challenger Ronda Rousey.

Along with the title fight will be a lightweight bout between former Strikeforce champion Josh Thomson and K.J. Noons, a welterweight showdown between Kazuo Misaki and Paul Daley, and a women’s #1 contender bout as former title holder Sarah Kaufman battles Alexis Davis.

Howeverm despite the four fight card featuring a title-bout, Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker told that, “(The main event has) not been determined. We’re still booking fights.”

Coker hopes that the Heavyweight Grand Prix final between Daniel Cormier and Josh Barnett will headline the show but that it will clearly depend on whether or not Cormier is cleared by doctors from his broken hand,  an injury he suffered in his semifinal victory against Antonio Silva. No other options were mentioned as possibilities.
