With so many fight cards upcoming in early 2011, Joe Silva has been a busy man filling them all up. The UFC matchmaker recently added a bantamweight showdown to the UFC on Fuel card in February as Ultimate Fighter finalist T.J. Dillashaw will take on fellow up-and-coming prospect Walel Watson.

The fight has been confirmed by UFC officials.

The favorite to win the most recent season of TUF, Dillashaw eventually lost in the finals to John Dodson. The Team Alpha Male stand out was 4-0 professionally prior to the loss and won three contests on The Ultimate Fighter 14 in order to make it to the finals.

Watson is coming off a highly competitive split decision loss to veteran Yves Jabouin at UFC 140 in just his second UFC bout. “The Gazelle” was very impressive in his October UFC, finishing the previously undefeated Joseph Sandoval in just 1:17 with strikes.

UFC on Fuel 1 is scheduled for February 15 at the Omaha Civic Auditorium in Omaha, Nebraska. The night will be headlined by a welterweight showdown between top contenders Jake Ellenberger and Diego Sanchez.
