In the infamous words of Bruce Buffer, it’s tiiiiiiiiiiiiiime…for another UFC event that kicks of a stretch of consecutive shows!

Set to unfold from Las Vegas, UFC 137 is headlined by former champions Nick Diaz and BJ Penn throwing down with a number of other interesting match-ups to be found as well including Donald Cerrone vs. Dennis Siver, Tyson Griffin vs. Bart Palaszewski, Roy Nelson vs. Mirko Flipovic, and Matt Mitrione vs. Cheick Kongo.

However, before the fighters can face off in the Octagon they have to step on the scale in hopes of making weight and seeing their bouts become official. Though the majority of the bunch hit their marks, Griffin actually came in three pounds heavy for his fight and has been some additional time to drop the weight.

Two highlights from the festivities involved a heated staredown between the headliners where the two welterweights had to be separated after making contact, shoving each other in the process, as well as Nelson wearing a fat-suit on the scale to disguise his weight.

Check out some video of the minor skirmish between Penn/Diaz:
