While many fans were previously disappointed with Strikeforce’s decision to place a welterweight showdown between Joe Riggs and Jay Hieron on the untelevised portion of “Strikeforce: Miami“, it now looks like the makers of the upcoming “EA Sports MMA” have stepped up to insure that viewers at home will still be able to witness the bout.

EA Sports MMA recently announced via Twitter that the bout between Riggs and Hieron will be broadcast live on EASportsMMA.com.

The bout, which will be the only undercard attraction to be aired on the site, is set to kick off at 9 pm ET.

Riggs is currently on a four fight win streak with wins over the likes of Luke Stewart and Phil Baroni in the mix, while Hieron has won his last six straight with big wins over Mark Miller, Jason High and Jesse Taylor along the way.
