As Strikeforce heavyweight Lavar Johnson re-cooperates from multiple gunshot wounds an arrest has been made in connection with the recent shooting that left one dead and four injured in Bakersfield, California.
According to a report by the Bakersfield Californian a fifteen-year-old by the name of Laquiria Foreman has been arrested and charged with murder, attempted murder, conspiracy and participating in a gang.
The Bakersfield Police have recently pleaded with it’s community for help as reports that 86% of it’s murders this year have been gang related show that there is a serious problem.
Although the police have not confirmed whether or not they believe Foreman is the shooter, previous reports state that the shooter was a teenage male with two accomplices.
Johnson and four others were shot in the early morning hours of July 5 in the front yard of a residence while attending a family reunion.
Three teens were walking past the residence when one of them brandished a firearm and began shooting.
Anthony Mack Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds.
