Paul Bradley will forever be an Iowa boy at heart.
But “The Gentleman” is currently living the MMA dream in San Diego, training out of the famed Alliance MMA gym.
The camp currently boasts UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz, Bellator light heavyweight No. 1 contender Phil Davis, Michael Chandler and others, giving Bradley a solid base to improve his skills day-in and day-out.
Recently, Cruz returned to action, re-claiming the belt he never lost. He scored a decision victory over T.J. Dillashaw.
“I am definitely happy for Dom,” said Bradley, during a recent interview with FightLine. “I knew Dom would do it. I train when he does, but (we don’t interact) because I’m too big for him.”
One person that does allow Bradley (23-6) to improve with recently relocated back to the camp in Alexander Gustafsson. The former No. 1 contender was a mainstay in California while working his way up the ladder.
“I am happy to have Alex back,” Bradley said. “He is an amazing fighter and great guy to train with.”
