The World Series of Fighting announced on Monday that they have signed Timur Valiev to a new contract.
The bantamweight signed a multi-fight, multi-year agreement with the WSOF and is expected to be placed in a bout in the near future.
“We are thrilled to extend our agreement with Timur Valiev, one of the brightest prospects and most exciting rising starts in our entire sport,” WSOF president Ray Sefo said.
The Russian trains with Jackson-Winkeljohn in New Mexico and has scored five finishes among his nine career wins. He has reeled off nine consecutive wins since losing his MMA debut in 2010 via decision, including a March finish of Ed West.
“Lucky” also topped Isaiah Chapman and Adam Acquaviva in 2014 while competing for the WSOF.
