The masked crime-fighter known as “Phoenix Jones” will make his World Series of Fighting debut vs. Emmanuel Walo at WSOF 20 this April.
Set for April 10 from the Foxwoods Resort and Casino in Connecticut, the main card airs on NBC Sports and features David Branch vs. Ronny Markes in a light heavyweight tournament semifinal.
Ben Fodor, who’s alter-ego is that of Phoenix Jones, is 5-0-1 and the brother of MMA veteran Caros Fodor. He started fighting street crime in Seattle in 2011.
Walo (7-2-1) lost to CES MMA champion Chuck O’Neil recently, but won his WSOF debut last year.
Also, Johnny Campbell and Darren Mima collide on the prelims in a flyweight scrap. Campbell (11-5) will be debuting at 125 pounds and carries a six-fight win streak, while Mima (5-3) has lost both of his last two.
