Video: Conor McGregor Dominates Dustin Poirier

ufc fight night 59

Conor McGregor said he would finish Dustin Poirier early in their fight. And that’s exactly what “Notorious” did.

Now, McGregor is one win away from earning a shot at UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo. To gain that, he’ll meet Dennis Siver next Sunday night at UFC Fight Night 59 from Boston.

In the video below, see McGregor’s destruction of Poirier from last year:

  • THEGUNNER says:

Seems like Conor gets special treatment. I’m not a fan yet. Let’s see him beat Edgar or someone in the top 3. Siver is 10 I believe. If Conor is so good and wants a title shot why is he fighting guys below his ranking. Siver has not looked that good lately which h is why I don’t understand conar getting him to be the main event unless their purposely trying to hype Conor for more than he is.

  • AlphaOmega says:

I think it might have a little bit to do with that, he’s bringing so much money from Ireland to them that they don’t want it to end. I mean their last PPV they ran out of time because they spend forever doing a promo on him that they couldn’t really interview fighters after fights

  • fanoftna33 says:

I personally think if he beats Siver then I am all for a title shot for Conor, he will be 5-0 at FW, Aldo needs a new challenger as he has beat everybody else, and honestly as much as I love Edgar it will play out the exact same in a title rematch. Look at who Mendes beat to get the rematch, no true top 5 guys either, but Conor has fought some pretty decent guys and I see no reason to give Aldo another rematch just to put Conor in with a wrestler.
