Sara McMann Names Sarah Kaufman As Her Next Target

Sarah Kaufman

Former U.S. Olympic silver medalist Sara McMann wants to test her skills against an ex-Strikeforce female champion next.

While attending a local MMA event in South Carolina recently, McMann was interviewed inside the cage. During the interview, McMann issued a challenge to Sarah Kaufman for a future fight.

“I hope to fight Sarah Kaufman next,” McMann said.

McMann (7-1) suffered her first loss this past February when she was finished by Ronda Rousey for the UFC female bantamweight title. Kaufman (17-2) is unbeaten in her last six fighting, going 5-0 with one no-contest. Her lone loss during that stretch also came at the hands of Rousey.

They were suppose to fight before weren’t they, and then one of them got hurt. Kaufmann has had a bad luck run here lately, either her opponents get hurt right at the last minute or she does. That girl has had so many cancelled fights its crazy

  • fanoftna33 says:

Yep Sara had to cancel due to personal issues. I think McMann has this fight all day.

  • AlphaOmega says:

I’ll always root for Kaufmann, she’s my favorite WMMA fighter
