I am thinking that unless the eye is truly not %100 Bisping takes this one.

  • AlphaOmega says:

Is it for #1 contendership? If not then ya Bisping takes it, if it is then no he loses

  • THEGUNNER says:

Havnt watched one fight pass event and dont plan to til its worth the $.

  • AlphaOmega says:

This isn’t on fight pass, just the prelims are

  • THEGUNNER says:

Really? Thanks alpha. I wouldnt have watched if u didnt mention. And I agrre bisping by ud if its not a contender fight.

  • fanoftna33 says:

It is not offically a contenders match but a exciting win here could get Bisping very close to it. Like he has said the only people to beat him at 185 are juiced up, Vitor, Henderson, and Sonnen- the Silva fight was just a bad decision. I think on an even playing field we will see Bisping do very well now.

  • Richard Stabone says:

Who has Bisping ever beat that would give someone the impression that he’s a legitimate title contender?

His split decision win over Matt Hamill?

His decision victory over Chris Leben that came towards the end of a 3-5 stretch for Leben?

Beating Stann & Belcher were solid wins, but considering Stann lost 2 of 3 fights sandwiched around the Bisping fight and would soon retire from the sport, and Belcher has just one victory in the last 2+ years… it would seem kinda silly to get overly excited about Bisping beating either of them.

Bisping is a very good fighter who just isn’t on that top tier. Not his fault. He’s not a “choker” or whatever other label folks might slap on him. He’s put together a very impressive MMA career, consistently beating all but the top level fighters, but he’s just not championship material.
