Former one-time title contender Josh Koscheck has plans to fulfill his UFC contract.
That means “Kos” wants to compete at least twice more inside the Octagon.
Koscheck (17-8) recently told ESPN that he is “still coming back” following a loss last November to Tyron Woodley.
“I have two more fights on my contract and I plan on fighting those out and seeing if I want to continue,” Koscheck said. “I’m obligated to two more fights with the UFC. I’ve been called twice for fights and I told the UFC, ‘No, I’m not ready yet.'”
Koscheck, 36 years old, has lost three straight – including two via finish. However, he is just two years removed from a stretch that included wins over Matt Hughes, Anthony Johnson and Paul Daley.
“I’ve been training my whole life. I’ve never had a break,” he said. “I feel like I need to get away and take some time off and enjoy life.
“Probably at the end of the month, I’ll start focusing more on getting back into fight shape.”
