As one might have expected, the war of words between Ronda Rousey and Cris Cyborg started right back up after Rousey’s UFC 170 victory Saturday night.
Rousey earned her first career non-submission win, finishing Sara McMann after a liver kick.
Cyborg, who stated last week that she would be working to make bantamweight for a future meeting with the UFC champion, posted a message on Twitter minutes after the fight.
“I’m glad Ronda Rousey won,” she wrote. “Now I can kick her ass in December – make it happen daddy (referencing Dana White).”
Rousey, not having heard these latest Cyborg comments, was asked by Dominick Cruz about the fighter on the FOX Sports 1 post-fight show.
“She knows where I’m at,” Rousey said. “I’m not going anywhere.”
White was asked about a potential match during the post-fight press conference and said he wants Cyborg to make 135 pounds a few times before coming to the UFC.
