UFC female bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey continues to be pushed to the forefront of the mass media.
Rousey, coming off an appearance as a coach on The Ultimate Fighter, was recently named to Time Magazine’s list of 30 People Under 30 Changing The World.
The former Olympian will appear in upcoming major-market films “The Expendables 3” and “Fast & Furious 7.” She has previously appeared in ESPN The Magazine’s The Body Issue and on countless other covers.
Some other people named to the list include former “Friday Night Light’s” star Michael B. Jordan, human rights leader Alexander McLean and politicians Vivian Graubard and Teddy Goff.
Rousey’s bio in the Time article states her becoming the “first-ever woman to sign with the UFC” and that she is the “face of female athletics through her tough skills and commercial successes.”
Next up for Rousey inside the Octagon will be Miesha Tate later this month at UFC 168.
