5 Biggest Winners at UFC Fight Night 26: Shogun vs. Sonnen

Going into this fight I thought we were looking at the beginning of the end of Chael Sonnen’s fighting career. He had not won a UFC light-heavyweight fight EVER and was going against a former champ. I could not have been the only one that thought he would get smashed. But, there he was, locking up a guillotine in the very first round and sending Rua flying down the ranks. I am stunned that anyone thought Rua would beat Sonnen. Styles make fights and Rua, a little chubby with bad cardio, had merely a puncher’s chance against the tireless rabid dog that is Chael Sonnen. I expected Chael to hold him down for 5 rounds, but I was happy to see him taking it up a notch and really destroying Rua.

I hope Rua learns that he needs to get in shape and move down to his natural weight class.

Somebody feed Matt Brown a top 5 fighter. That dude is hungry!

Would like to see Travis Browne fight Miocic next. 2 guys on the way up!
