5 Biggest Winners at UFC Fight Night 26: Shogun vs. Sonnen

Even though Johnson was fighting on the main card, he may have been fighting for his job. With two losses in a row coming in, a bad performance could have gotten him a pink slip. I’m not so sure it was one of the most dominating performances in UFC history like Dana White said, but it was definitely impressive. I am stunned that anyone thought Rua would beat Sonnen. Styles make fights and Rua, a little chubby with bad cardio, had merely a puncher’s chance against the tireless rabid dog that is Chael Sonnen. I expected Chael to hold him down for 5 rounds, but I was happy to see him taking it up a notch and really destroying Rua.

I hope Rua learns that he needs to get in shape and move down to his natural weight class.

Somebody feed Matt Brown a top 5 fighter. That dude is hungry!

  • Midget says:

Would like to see Travis Browne fight Miocic next. 2 guys on the way up!
