  • SBERG says:

Figured LaRosa was a big enough name to get into UFC with having to go through TUF……Interesting.

  • hindsightufuk says:

looks like a decent bunch of fighters, lots of experience in the females, and loads of raw unbeaten talent in the fellas. could be potentially the best cast in years

  • MCM says:

It’s a damn insult to the entire history of WMMA that LaRosa has to go through TUF to fight in the UFC. She may be on the downside of her career, but she was ranked #1 for most of the sports brief history.

  • Brendhan Conlan says:

Maybe it’s a means of building her brand as a contender? Being the first TUF female winner in history definitely won’t hurt any of the competitors’ future prospects.

  • SBERG says:

Meant to say “without having to go through TUF” up there……
    @ MCM……Yep….I can’t argue with you there…
@ Brendhan….Was giving that a thought as well . My only concern with that though is pay. I wonder if Dana has a backroom deal with her that if she wins she gets something more added to the contract or for that matter a separate deal all together aside from the TUF deal….. I’m just guessing of course…

  • AlphaOmega says:

She might be a big enough name to end up like kimbo, get a contract even if she doesn’t win the TUF

I love the way Miesha always looks like she just got done with some mattress acrobatics-but on a serious note-I can’t wait for this next season of TUF-specifically for the fact that it is co-ed and at the same weight class-would be funny if drama broke out at the house between a dude and a lady and the lady kayoed him

  • Screenplaya says:

I am quite sure the “known” ladies are more than happy to go on the show. They will all gain more exposure on this show than they have in their careers, most likely. And every lady in the house who can actually fight, will almost certainly get into the UFC after the show, anyway.
