It looks like another bout has been scheduled for the UFC’s April 6 return to Stockholm, Sweden in the form of a featherweight fight between Diego Brandao and Pablo Garza. The bout not only pits two finishers against one another but also marks an intriguing clash of styles given Brandao’s love of brawling in comparison to Garza’s ground game.
Brandao is 1-1 since winning the Ultimate Fighter 14, splitting a pair of decisions with the most recent involving a victory over Joey Gambino. The 15-8 Brandao has stopped eight of his opponents with strikes, employing an aggressive attack not too far removed from countryman Wanderlei Silva.
The 29-year old Garza is coming off the biggest win of his career, outpointing Mark Hominick last November. The triumph improved his overall record to 12-3.
