Strikeforce fighters shine at organization’s last show

Going into last night’s lineup for Strikeforce: Marquardt vs. Saffiedine, it was widely reported that many of the individuals taking to the cage would have to earn a win if hoping to join a number of their promotional peers on the UFC’s roster. Whether it fear of free agency or motivation from the show marking Strikeforce’s swan song, the lot of fighters scheduled for action certainly delivered in the ring, producing as memorable an event as the organization had offered up in quite some time.

Thanks to Showtime, fan are able to check out highlights from the main card including finishes from Ronaldo Souza, Gegard Mousasi, Daniel Cormier, and Josh Barnett. Also featured, as might be expected, is Tarec Saffiedine’s rendering of Nate Marquardt’s leg into taco meat en route to winning the welterweight title.

    Frank Shamrock

90’s pro Wrestling style entrance ramps and pyro
