Dennis Hallman loses house to fire on Thanksgiving morning

While countless people were busy enjoying Thanksgiving dinner yesterday alongside loved ones, former UFC fighter Dennis Hallman was dealing with the latest incident in a string of personal misfortunes. The 36-year old went on Facebook to explain the circumstances, revealing he’d lost his house due to a fire.

“Sad Thanksgiving for me and my family. My house burned down early this AM. Thank God no one was hurt and I have that to be thankful for,” wrote Hallman. “Something like this makes my recent direction change all the harder…the one person that could make me feel okay about everything is no longer here. When God wants you to have a fresh start sometimes he really wants to make his point clear.”

No other updates were offered on Hallman’s situation.

Hallman was released by the UFC earlier this year after coming in overweight, citing an ongoing custody battle and concerns about his wife being addicted to drugs as the root of his issues. He was still paid his salary in hopes it would help him get his life back together.

Jeez, more craziness in the life of Mr. Hallman. Under normal circumstances you simply feel awful for the guy and hope insurance will help mitigate the damage from such an awful event. But with a drug-addicted wife in the mix, and the friggin house burning down, I can’t help but wonder if there is some type of foul play involved here, which could really complicate matters even further.

That really sucks for Hallman! Sound’s like it could be a Friction fire! I hate seeing pepole be Down and out. But I remeber an old Saying i heard along time ago, “life Is a Shit Sandwich, It Depends if you get it with Mayonaise or not”. Let’s all hope Hallman can find Some Mayo at this point!! Best wishes to Him.
