Well I just found out I don’t get fuel tv for free anymore… God damn it!
Fucking Time Warner… I have had Fuel for months! Cock suckers!!!

Sorry had to rant missing the pre lims.

  • Lord Faust says:

You have a right to be pissed, they’ve been great.

TJ Waldburger is definitely making me want to see more of him.

  • MCM says:

    Rece,
Just found them on Spanish Fox!
    FU Fuel TV!

  • MCM says:

    Steven “The Miller Hunter” Siler

  • Lord Faust says:

    “Come at me, bro”

  • MCM says:

gotta agree with the guy chanting “Bullshit, bullshit, bullshit”

  • Dufresne says:

Complete horseshit. 100%, unadulterated, bulllshit. WTF were those judges watching?

  • Richard Stabone says:

    Another silly decision.

I’m not sure how much blame to place on the judges vs. the 10-point system. Either way, another case of a guy losing the fight & winning the decision.

  • Lord Faust says:

I don’t blame the scoring system. Everyone but those idiots basically agreed, 29-28 McCall.

  • Dufresne says:

    Benavidez drops the hammer!

  • MCM says:

Kampmann has got to be sweating bullets after seeing that decision. Here’s hoping he doesn’t get screwed for a third time.

  • Richard Stabone says:

I don’t blame the scoring system. Everyone but those idiots basically agreed, 29-28 McCall.

Yeah, I agree McCall took tit 29-28. But even if Mighty Mouse *had* squeeked out the 1st round (pun intended, I guess) and therefore won the fight 29-28 based on the scoring system we’ve got, I would still feel like it was a stupid outcome for a *fight* we all watched.

So the system sucks, the judges suck even more, and that’s what we too often get when these fights go the distance.

  • Lord Faust says:

    I’ll definitely agree there.

  • Richard Stabone says:

Great matchup, tough to call, but I think Kampmann will gradually break Alves’ will and grab the victory, whether by late stoppage or decision.

And I’ll say it for about the 10th time on here… I’d love to see the winner of this fight face Diaz.

  • Lord Faust says:

Taking Kampmann. Good card thus far, decisions aside.

  • Lord Faust says:

Errr, decision. The others seemed correct.

  • MCM says:

close first round. I had Kampmann wining the first 3 1/2 minutes but Thiago was so dominant at the end,I could see him getting the nod.

  • MCM says:

    YESSSSSSS!!!!

  • Lord Faust says:

    OMG!!

    Wow, just wow.

    That was epic.

  • Richard Stabone says:

Pretty much exactly how I envisioned it happening when I made my call for Kampmann by late stoppage. :)

  • MCM says:

    FOTN and SOTN right there.

  • Lord Faust says:

Has to be. That was a great fight; another free card delivers.

  • Richard Stabone says:

Awesome finish to a pretty dang entertaining card. And Kampmann caught a nice dose of karma tonight to help offset some of his previous bad luck in the cage.

  • AlphaOmega says:

Johnson and McCall’s fight was ruled to be scored incorrectly, should of been a draw, will rematch.

  • Lord Faust says:

A draw is suspect to me, but still better than a win for MM — which is most certainly was not.

  • JabCrossHook says:

McCall won the fight just like Torres beat Demetrius Johnson. This guy keeps lucking out with decisions every time its ridiculous.

  • Rece Rock says:

McAll is getting a rematch and the judges score cards actually should have led to the sudden death round but DW said they were read wrong…. What a fucking mess, such Busch league bullshit.

  • Rece Rock says:

And I thought for sure I’d be gloating about thiago getting the win…. Unbelievable job by kampann getting the sub with under a min left on the round…madness! Great fight, I feel like pitbull really didn’t lose to much ground even in defeat.

  • Lord Faust says:

Alves fought a great fight, aside from getting caught in that choke he was on his way to an easy 30-27 victory IMO.

  • MCM says:

I wouldn’t say an “easy” 30-27. I still had Kampmann barley taking the 1st. But I agree Alves was clearly wining the 2nd and 3rd. But that was not “the Pitbull” of old as he said. I though Alves fought smart but he didn’t look like the killer he used to.

  • Lord Faust says:

Yeah, round 1 was a toss-up, but I figured Alves’ strong close to the round clinched it. Definitely arguable either way, though.
