UFC giving away 25,000 free UFC 141 PPVs to XBOX Live customers

The show may be taking place a little less than a week after Christmas but it appears the UFC will still be in the holiday spirit come December 30 and UFC 141: Lesnar vs. Overeem. Not only are they offering up a card headlined by two former heavyweight champions clashing for top contendership but they’re doing so for free, at least to select customers on XBOX Live.

According to an official announcement from the UFC, the first 25,000 people who order UFC 141 through the new UFC on XBOX Live service will get the show without being charged for the service.

UFC on XBOX Live launched earlier this week with on-demand content, weigh-in/preview videos, and interactive “pick em” cards for UFC 141. PPVs will also be available for streaming in HD starting with next Friday night’s festivities. UFC 141 is headlined by Brock Lesnar vs. Alistair Overeem with a co-main event involving Nate Diaz vs. Donald Cerrone.

If you didn’t order it by yesterday afternoon you were not getting it. I got it late yesterday morning and by the afternoon everybody else who tried got a sold out notification.

Good job getting at it early. Let us know how the quality is!

I’ll let you guys know what it is like. It is supposed to be the HD stream so I am hoping it looks as good as the ppvs do through cable.
