Paul Daley picks up win at BAMMA 7, Frank Trigg falls to Wallhead

After once again coming in overweight for a fight, controversial competitor Paul Daley took to the ring again this evening in England with Bulgarian wrestler Jordan Radev looking to hand the British bomber a third consecutive loss.

However, Daley prevailed after hurting Radev early and peppering him with knees, punches, and kicks for the duration of their fight minus a few brief flashes of resilience from Radev. The decision win was only the sixth of Daley’s career with the bulk of his 28 total victories coming via TKO.

The BAMMA 7 scrap was joined on the card by he of the twinkling toes, Frank Trigg, who fought in a main event match-up against skilled judo practitioner Jim Wallhead.

Wallhead, a late replacement for Tom Watson, pulled off the upset after some stiff shots and overall control throughout the bout lead to a Split Decision win.

  • Richard Stabone says:

Hard to call any Trigg loss a defeat at this point.

  • Richard Stabone says:

    Errr… I meant an upset.

  • Guthookd says:

Yeah, Trigg was wining that he didn’t get a shot at the champ…….well, you best get a few wins before you lobby for that shit again. I guess this proves that Trigg wouildn’t fair well in Bellator, considering that Jim just got worked by Rick Hawn.
