Fight Announcement: Zach Davis (Team Dos Santos) vs. Chuck O’Neill (Team Lesnar) in Quarterfinal Fight
The Fight: Chuck turned in a very strong first round, battering Zach with punches early and stuffing the takedown. Zach was able to slow things down in the clinch but he didn’t do much damage and couldn’t wrestle Chuck to the ground. Chuck really turned it up at the end of the round, rocking Zach with a flurry of punches but Zach managed to survive. The second round wasn’t as strong for Chuck but it was still his round. He once again stuffed every takedown and picked apart Zach on the feet.
Result: Chuck O’Neill def. Zach Davis via Unanimous Decision

Zach Davis Report: Not a good showing for Zach. He couldn’t get anything going on the feet, he couldn’t get Chuck to the ground, and he couldn’t do anything with Zach in the clinch.

Chuck O’Neill Report: I was really impressed with Chuck. His striking looked very crisp, he was putting together nice combinations, and throwing chopping leg kicks. Most importantly though, he was stuffing the takedowns and taking very little damage.

Injuries: After the fight, Zach found out that he tore the retina in both his eyes and the doctor told him that he won’t be able to fight anymore.

Fight Announcement: Ryan McGillivray (Team Dos Santos) vs. Tony Ferguson (Team Lesnar) in a Quarterfinal Fight
The Fight: Ferguson caught McGillivray with a short uppercut early that wobbled and dropped him early and was able to pound him out for the stoppage. The fight lasted less than a minute.
Result: Tony Ferguson def. Ryan McGillivray via TKO Round 1 (Strikes)

Ryan McGillivray Report: Not much to say about Ryan. He got caught early and was finished.

Tony Ferguson Report: Tony once again turns in another KO although this one was in the more traditional fashion. If nothing else, the man has plenty of power.

Semifinal Fights: Ramsey Nijem (Team Dos Santos) vs. Chris Cope (Team Lesnar) and Tony Ferguson (Team Lesnar) vs. Chuck O’Neill (Team Lesnar)

House Stories/Drama: During a night of drinking after all the fights, things were going well. “Then it turned ugly.” Charlie Radar and Tony Ferguson started fighting and arguing. Tony brought up the situation with Charlie’s son, who Charlie is trying to gain custody of. All the guys in the house turned against Tony.

Eliminated Fighters: Myles Jury, Nordin Asrih, Keon Caldwell, Len Bentley, Charlie Radar, Mick Bowman, Justin Edwards, Javier Torres, Clay Harvison, Shamar Bailey, Zach Davis, Ryan McGillivray

  • Rece Rock says:

Tony Ferguson deserved a good beating…

  • MCM says:

I never liked Tony Ferguson since the first time I saw him in that stupid suit, then when he blew up at Cope for no reason whatsoever, I figured this guy was just a douche bag. Glad to see everyone else figuring out the guys a dick.

Tough break for Zach Davis, but I wouldn’t put too much stock into what the doctor said. Look at Frank Mir, Allen Belcher, Mark Miller, even Brock Lesnar. The kids tough, I hope he comes back.
