Continuing to build on their ongoing initiative to provide the public with free MMA the UFC will once again offer an event in its entirety when UFC 130 rolls around in a little less than two weeks as the promotion previously did last month during their record-breaking stop in Toronto.
According to an announcement from the UFC, fans can catch a trio of preliminary pairings through their Facebook page starting at 7:00 PM EST, then tune into Spike TV an hour later and catch two more fights prior to the PPV firing up at 9:00 PM EST.
Whether the bouts on May 28 will live up to the sky-high standard set by UFC 129’s highlight-heavy undercard remains to be seen though the entire lot of match-ups certainly have the potential to drop the jaws of those dedicated enough to watch things unfold live before the night’s final five fights get underway.
Set for showdowns on Spike TV, rising star Demetrious Johnson will test the gas tank of fearless former WEC champ Miguel Torres in bantamweight action while Ultimate Fighter Season 3 winner Kendall Grove takes on apt finisher Tim Boetsch at 185 pounds.
Meanwhile, the Facebook portion of UFC 130 is set to feature Renan Barao vs. Cole Escovedo, Chris Cariaso vs. Michael McDonald, and Bart Palaszewski vs. Gleison Tibau.
