Championships on the line as all “Strikeforce – Diaz vs. Daley” fighters make weight

The final step towards the first major Strikeforce event of the Zuffa era is on the cusp of taking place as all eighteen fighters competing tomorrow night at “Strikeforce – Diaz vs. Daley” stepped on the scale in San Diego with all making weight meaning the show will on on as originally scheduled.

The event features dual title bouts in the form of welterweight champ Nick Diaz defending his belt against brash Brit Paul Daley and 155-pound king Gilbert Melendez putting his belt up for grabs against seasoned veteran Tatsuya Kawajiri. The main card is also highlighted by Gegard Mousasi taking on Keith Jardine, as well as Shinya Aoki returning to the Strikeforce cage in hopes of finding success against Lyle Beerbohm.

Fans can catch all the live action on Showtime tomorrow night starting at 10:00 PM EST.
