Strikeforce Challengers 14 Live Event Photos (Co-Headliners)

This past Friday night’s Strikeforce Challengers 14 event has come and gone but memories remain as do a number of pictures taken live on the scene by Five Ounces of Pain staff! Scroll below to relive a few of the moments from the card featuring Ryan Couture’s continuation of his father’s legacy and Lyle Beerbohm’s grappling-classic with Pat Healy.

Five Ounces would also like to extend a special thanks to Ben Conlan with 512 Action Photography for all the great shots…

holy shit, did I get the first one? Always thought the entire “first” thing was dumb, but now that I’m here, doing it, right now…It’s still dumb. I’m curious what people think about “Natural Light”…Couture Jr, for those that didn’t get the reference. Should we believe the hype? I know that 5oz’ will put out an amazing article about this…

It was a great event. I love Challengers and all the lower level cards. The Tachi card the same night was not bad either, even though the stream was garb.

There are a lot of up and coming fighters in every weight class in multimple orgs. The next few years are going to be great!

BTW BBB I like Natural Light. He fought a game opponent and kept trying to finish right up to the last minute of the fight….awesome when he finally got the choke. I hope he continues to improve. I’d love to see him out shine his own dad one day.

Guthookd- although the article link was pulled down, I am assuming you read it. Honestly, I want to see him succeed, and feel that he can. I just want him to do it for himself, and not have people judge him by his last name. As I mentioned in the article ( at ) I feel like no one feels the pressure of the name “Couture” more than Ryan
