Nice way to finish the fight-year.
Mousasi looked really sharp, but seemed to have a gas-problem in 3rd round. Nice win anyway against a really good K1-opponent.

I was literally overwhelmed with joy when Aoki dropped into a deep sleep in the second. The first round looked like a shitty wrestling-match, and he was totally to blame for it. Dont agree to fights like that if you gonna behave like a pussy. Im not sure what to think of the “crossdresser” Nagashima, but as of today, i am a fan. I can watch this over and over.

Overeem made quick work of Duffee. Duffee wanted to take the pressure to the Reem, which is a good idea, but not if you dont move your fucking head..
Normally Overeem is a slow starter, he just figures out his opponent for a while, but Duffee really presented his chin for abuse there.

We really need Overeem to fight Fedor soon, and should he win, finally head to the ufc.
    Lets see what 2011 brings.

  • Did anyone think Duffee would see past the first round?
HA Aoki went down! Maybe now people will quit rankin him as a number 1-2 LW(yeah I’ve seen it, even after he sucked for five rounds against Gil and Lost)

Happy new year all…let’s see what 2011 brings!

I’ve got nothing against Aoki, but it was so nice to see Nagashima land clean after being so obviously frustrated and annoyed in the first round. I don’t know how he kept his composure through all of that BS, but he certainly got rewarded for it.

  • G-DUB says:

Agreed. Highlight of the night was Aoki getting put to sleep. What a wonderful example of poetic justice …. and in the MMA rounds! Couldn’t have happened to a less-likable guy.
The Reem is a BEAST. I don’t envy anyone who faces him. Come on Fedor …. stop running and face this guy.

  • LiverPunch says:

Fedor has already challenged Overeem G-DUB. He is not running and never was. He wanted to face him and has called him out. Overeem then said no. Overeem called Fedor out when Fedor was scheduled to fight Werdum and then Fedor called out Overeem and the Reem said he wouldn’t because of K1 and because he was ripped to shreds by the media for facing a guy coming off a loss last time , that guy was called Brett Rogers. Funny that he then fought a guy less experienced than Rogers and with a way lower rank called Duffee who was also coming off a loss WTF?! The last time I got into this discussion it was both funny and sad to see how many haters were out there that just will not pay attention to any info that does not suit them and there minds view. Not saying that is you G-Dub. You may not know any better.

    Aoki deserved what he got.

  • fanoftna33 says:

What a fun night of fights. Sucks that Thompson lost as looking at both guys youd guess Josh won. Big surprise Aoki lost but it was a gimmick match anyway. Very exciting K-1 matches and good MMA very well done by Dream again.

  • fanoftna33 says:

And I think we all want Fedor vs Overeem, I dont give a crap about the he said he said stuff just make it happen(Strikeforce and M-1)
