After suffering a handful of injuries leading up to the event, Strikeforce has still managed to provide a solid line-up set to entertain fans in the Scottrade Center (and tuning in on Showtime). Headlined by a contendership-determining bout between light heavyweights Dan Henderson and Renato “Babalu” Sobral, the card also features hard-hitting welterweights Scott Smith and Paul Daley undoubtedly going toe-to-toe, as well as striker Rob Lawler testing his stand-up against Olympic silver-medal winning wrestler Matt Lindland and much more!
All the competitors stepped on the scale this afternoon in St. Louis in anticipation of making weight for Saturday night’s offering from Strikeforce and were successful with the exception of two preliminary bouts where the involved competitors were given two hours to drop the remaining weight before their opponents agreed to take the fight as-is.
