UFC 119 Live Results

Famous for its rich basketball tradition, the State of Indiana will trade “jump-shots” for “body-shots”, “slam-dunks” for simply “slams”, and “Hoosiers” for “bruisers” later this evening when UFC 119 fires up at the Conseco Fieldhouse!

Five Ounces of Pain will bring readers live results as the event unfolds tonight in Indianapolis. Coverage of the show will begin approximately at 5:00 ET when the first pair of fighters square off.

UFC 119 is headlined by bouts featuring former promotional heavyweight champ Frank Mir facing PRIDE icon Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic, as well as undefeated light heavyweight Ryan Bader taking on his toughest opponent to date in the form of seasoned veteran Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. Also in action at the event, Matt Serra will try to repeat his winning Ultimate Fighter Season 4 performance against Indianapolis native Chris Lytle, while former 155-pound title-holder Sean Sherk will do his best to fend off 11-0 Evan Dunham.

In addition to the main card, fans can also catch a pair of undercard match-ups on Spike TV starting at heck your local listings for PPV availability.

  • fanoftna33 says:

Beltran Mitrione looked like Paul Varlens vs Cal Worsham for a bit there

  • Genesis says:

I’m not surprised that sherk won. That second round could’ve gone either way.
But seriously, how is he still standing?!

  • booboo2280 says:

I dunno what fight whoever is tweeting tonight. But what fight were you watching. Evan win the last two rounds. Fact the judges continue to over score take down when no damage is done is a joke. Shark didn’t land Shit outside the elbow. What a joke of score by 2 judges.

Fuck the people booing the main event! We get to watch 2 MMA GREATS (Mir n Mirko) go at it… Cro-Cop gets KO’d at the end of the 3rd and “Low n Behold” still people bitchin and whining! Thanx Mr Mir for winning me 50 bucks! Plus I met a fine ass cougar at the bar! FINISH FIGHTS PLEASE! The Lytle/Serra battle was awesome even though not finished! Same with Bader n Lil Nog!…

  • GIKE MOLDBERG says:

I hated to see Serra take so many shots to the dome-Lytle is getting more controlled and dangerous-The only thing is that his age clock is ticking-I think he should fight the winner of Hardy/Condit-Bader and Lil Nog was much anticipated by me- yet- actually watching it- was boring -I have just seen that kind of fight too much I guess-I think Jon Jones would destroy Bader at this point-Really don’t want to see that happen just yet-CB Dolloway is coming along nicely-He could be a real beast if brought up right-Guillard under Jackson looks like a lion who has been tamed-I like the way Stephens kept after him-But fighting a newly renovated points fighter has to be frustrating as hell

  • Guthookd says:

Bader almost thad Little Nog out in the first. That was a decent fight.

CB’s choke was pretty nasty as well. As much neck crank as guillotine. Very nice.

Mir looked tired and CC looked old, but the finish was worth the wait IMO. Neither one will ever be a champ in the UFC again, that’s for sure.

It was an OK card, but I’m also glad I went to the bar to watch it. Next one should be better.

  • elkymbo says:

CB Dolloway possible submission of the year contender?

  • elkymbo says:

Oh and Mirko, you’re an absolute legend but it might be time to think about retirement me thinks.
