Bellator 25 headed to Chicago, Bellator 26 set for Kansas City

Bellator Fighting Championships will be returning to a pair of familiar places for it’s 25th and 26th shows as the promotion recently unveiled plans for events in Chicago and Kansas City as part of their upcoming third season.

Bellator announced plans to hold Bellator 25 from the Chicago Theatre in Chicago on August 19, while Bellator 26 has been slated for Kansas City’s Power and Light District one week later on August 26.

Bellator 24 will mark the first show of the third season and is set to take place from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida on August 12.

Bellator’s third season will feature eight man tournaments in the heavyweight (205+) and bantamweight (135) divisions along with a highly anticipated women’s tournament at 115 pounds.

Looking forward to the woman’s tournament and the B.W one, but that H.W. field looks pretty weak.

  • Rece Rock says:

The HW’s will be a replay of TUF 10 with everybody gassing out left and right… (hope I’m wrong).

The Womens Tourney will be kick ass and really put the ladies on a more prominent stage.

Can’t wait for BFC to return.

when are the title fights taking place?

“when are the title fights taking place?”

That’s what I want to know.

Can’t wait for the next season. There will always be those boring fights and there will probably be several in the HW tourney, but it’s worth it for the good ones (not to mention it’s free…I’d go outside and watch a street fight for free my self).
BFC is doing a great job with the model they’ve built and I hope it keeps on working.

Can’t wait for the season to start. Thought last season rocked…Could use a little more BLOOD though, but we worked on some gruesome things man. Also can’t wait to see my buds again. Hope the HW’s have been working hard, and the Money vs Sanchez fight was awesome. Would like to see money fight for Bellator again….
