Hey SF put AA and the Headhunter in the cage for a rematch, might be interesting…?

  • Dufresne says:

I hate to see former favorite fighters decline like this. Yeah it’s a win, but it’s against a guy that only had 6 fights prior to this, and even then it was a decision win from a former KO artist.

Reece, I would love to see AA and the Headhunter go at it again. The first match was way too short and I’m not sure lightning will strike twice here. I would envision AA winning, but not by one punch KO like last time.

I’m alright with Buentello still fighting. He’s only 36 (just a couple years older than Brock) and can still make a living at it. If he starts to go like Shamrock, then I’d say hang it up, but for now it’s a way to make a paycheck. There are enough guys in his situation (quality, name fighters that have been passed by) that he can stay competitive at some level of MMA.
AA would be a big payday but Monson, Sylvia, Ricco, Hunt, hell even Saap and Kimbo would be headliners for some of these smaller shows. I say good for Paul for getting back in the win column.

I’ve always liked P.B. I swear the UFC should have kept him and Kimbo for just one last fight against each other… That would have been a KO one way or the other and an awesome prelim. I think P.B. got screwed in the Struve fight w/ that damn 4 min. body triangle and the “WTF” takedowns from Kongo! GOOD LUCK PAULLY! I hope to keep hearing about Ws!
