I guess I’d have to see more fight time from him to really make a call, but SHIT…Lombard looked really good for the 6 seconds we saw him fight last night. POWER should be his middle name. I was impressed. I just might go look up his fights from last season.

I knew Georgi wasn’t going to be able to handle Joe Warren’s wrestling, but I will give Georgi some credit for throwing up close to 5 or 6 nice submission attempts…..of course Joe has to get more credit not only for the win, but for fighting out of those subs. The armbar looked like it was deep as could be and Joe just powered out of it. He’s a little boring to watch, but give Warren a couple more years to develop subs of his own and we’re going to have a monster on our hands. I actually kinda like him because you can just tell during the interviews that he’s a little crazy…wild eyed dude.

I’m really glad that Pitbull got the win. Reyes is a good fighter but his boxing and kick boxing have a long way to go. Pitbull on the other hand….well, he looks very well rounded already. Great TD defense, good striking and decent foot work. He even has good cardio. Watching him fight off those TDs was a sight to behold. I really enjoyed this fight.

Rader looked pretty good in his feature fight too. I wonder if we’ll see him in next year’s tourney. Time will tell.

THANK GOD COMCAST DECIDED TO AIR THE EVENT THIS WEEK!!!!
