Fellow ASU wrestling alumnis and current UFC contenders, Ryan Bader, C.B. Dollaway and Aaron Simpson, have parted ways with their longtime fight team, Arizona Combat Sports.
FiveOuncesofPain.com has been able to confirm the news through sources close to the situation after it was initially reported by MMA Madness.
All three fighters got their start in mixed martial arts with the Tempe, Arizona based gym following decorated wrestling careers at Arizona State University.
The news comes at an unlikely time as all three fighters are coming off of big wins, with Bader recently defeating Keith Jardine, Dollaway besting Goran Reljic, and Simpson gritting out Tom Lawlor.
ACS will continue to be the training grounds for former WEC lightweight champion Jamie Varner.
There is no news currently available as to where the three UFC vets will call their home in the future, but 5 Oz. has learned that several of the best gyms in the business have expressed interest.
