TUF 11 Exclusive: Nick Ring part of The Ultimate Fighter Season 11

With the eleventh season of The Ultimate Fighter approaching fast and an anticipated premier date of March 31, fighters expected to appear on the show have begun to show their faces. has recently been able to confirm that Nick Ring is expected to take part in the upcoming eleventh season of The Ultimate Fighter as one of twenty-eight participants through sources close to the situation.

Ring is an Intercontinental Muay Thai champion, as well as being one of only four finalists during the PRIDE FC United States tryouts that were held several years ago. Nick currently holds an undefeated record of 10-0 with seven decisive stoppages in his ten bouts as a professional.

Ring joins Costa Phillipou, Chris Camozzi, Kyacey Uscola, Kyle Noke, Victor O’Donnell, Cleburn Walker, Warren Thompson, Charles Blanchard, Charley Lynch and Kris McCray as middleweights has recently been able to pin down as participants for the upcoming installment of The Ultimate Fighter.

Season 11 of the Ultimate Fighter will feature the middleweights and is set to debut on March 31, 2010 on Spike TV. TUF 11 will feature coaches Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz, who are expected to fight for a third time upon completion of the season.

    It sounds like this season may have some real talent in it. Gonna be nice to see real fighters going at it instead of subpar HWs gassing at the 2 minute mark.

    This is your TUF 11 Champion is what you should’ve made the headline.
    I’m really surprised someone of Ring’s talent is on TUF. He’s the caliber of fighter they haven’t had since the 1st season.
    Even after his long layoff he looked good when he came back and fought in Bellator.

    Really mixed talent pool this season… some guys are a more versed in the cage then others should be an interesting season.

  • I’ve had the opportunity to train with Nick Ring, and make no mistake about it, this guy is the real deal. Canada’s next GSP in the making perhaps. Will not be missing an episode.
