Training Partners Collide: Tyson Griffin vs. Evan Dunham expected for UFC 115

It had to happen sooner or later, and it now looks like Tyson Griffin and Evan Dunham could be viewed as trendsetters in the UFC from here forward as the fellow Xtreme Couture training partners are expected to face off with one another at UFC 115.

Both fighters have agreed to the match-up and the bout is expected to be finalized shortly according to MMAJunkie.com.

UFC 115 is expected to take place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on June 12 from the GM Place.

The winner of this match-up will undoubtedly inch themselves that much closer to an eventual title shot, as Griffin is coming off of back to back wins over Rafael dos Anjos and Hermes Franca, while the undefeated Dunham has won three straight during his time spent with the UFC.

Wow. That seems like a pretty big jump in opponent quality for Dunham.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. I guess they won’t have to watch any tape on one another this time around.

i hope these guys get paid a little extra for not pussying out on fighting each other.
Makes you wonder what will happen with regards to training though

Dunham is pretty talented, but as far as I’m concerned, Tyson is championship material and Dunham, despite being his partner, is in his way..

Griffin takes this however he wants..

I hope Evan kicks Tyson’s badonkadunk all over the octogon.
