  • This could be an awesome fight. Its gonna show us how good or bad Almeidas striking is and its really gonna show us how good Matt Browns ground game is. He’s been pulling off some great subs and going for a lot of near attempts but not against someone with the ground skills of The Big Dog. On the other hand, I think Matt Brown is one of the most underrated and well rounded fighters out there. Great striking and clinch work, super aggressive guard and NEVER stops working.

    Brown By TKO round 2

this card looks like the best the ufc has put on for a while. i shouldn’t say that it will probably get the injury bug now. i sure hope not all these fights are interesting matchups.

This will make for a very interesting fight, but eventually I think Almedia will be able to get the submission, maybe late 2nd or early 3rd round. Brown is a very good fighter and a terrific striker but Almeida is great grappler who can hold his own standing. Good fight though.

A nice addition to be sure. Brow will have his hands full fending off subs in this one. I dont’ have a pick, but I’m rooting for Brown. Matt is one tough guy and his skill set continues to fill out and improve.
