Efrain Escudero vs. Nick Lentz confirmed for UFC Fight Night 20

Both fighters have agreed to the bout according to a report on MMAFanhouse.com.

The event is expected to take place in Fairfax, Virginia on January 11 and airing live on Spike TV.

Escudero is the lightweight winner of the eighth season of The Ultimate Fighter and sports an undefeated record of 12-0. The Tempe, Arizona native put up a personal benchmark performance in his last bout when he knocked Cole Miller senseless in the first round at UFC 103.

Lentz trains out of the Minnesota Martial Arts Academy and holds a career record of 17-3-1. “The Carny” hasn’t seen a defeat in his last nine bouts that include a draw to Kyle Jensen and wins over the likes of Drew Fickett and Rafaello Oliviera.

    This looks like a good fight and a good test for Escudero. Flash in the pan, or the real deal?

    Escudero has been nothing but impressive, winning by submissions and ko. He had a bit of a boring fight vs Nover but looked great vs Miller. Cant wait to see him develope over the next few years.
