UFC President Dana White is scheduled to make a Tuesday, May 19 appearance on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon”.
The appearance on the show will mark White’s second major media exposure in just one week. White was most recently featured on ESPN’s E:60 debut piece to discuss the growth of the UFC under his tenure as president over the past ten years.
The UFC recently made the news of White’s scheduled appearance public on the UFC’s official website.
According to UFC official reports, White will be discussing the release of the THQ-developed “UFC 2009 Undisputed,” as well as the upcoming UFC 98 pay-per-view event on May 23rd in Las Vegas. The card will feature a main event light heavyweight title bout between Rashad Evans and Lyoto Machida.
“UFC 2009 Undisputed,” is scheduled for a special midnight release at 1,300 Gamestop stores on Tuesday, the same day as White’s appearance on the late night talk show.
Since the inception of the “Late Night” series in 1982 with David Letterman, Jimmy Fallon has become the third host of the show. Fallon, best known for his work on “Saturday Night Live“, took over the show for Conan O’Brien in March.
