SNMMA Heavyweight Champion Chris Tuchscherer returns to action Saturday night at “Extreme Beatdown”

Flying under the radar because of this weekends Strikeforce card, newly crowned SNMMA heavyweight champion Chris Tuchscherer is set to return to action against undefeated Jamie Klair.

The two heavyweights will collide at Saturday evening’s SNMMA “Extreme Beatdown” card set to take place at The Apache Gold Casino in San Carlos, Arizona.

Tuchscherer is a massive two time NCAA Division II All-American wrestler who is a regular training partner to UFC heavyweight champion, Brock Lesnar. Tuchscherer captured the SNMMA heavyweight championship in his last bout when he was able to ground and pound a seasoned and dangerous Brandon Lee Hinkle out in the fourth round. The Fargo, North Dakota powerhouse has amassed an extremely impressive record of 16-1 during the course of his career.

Klair has not fought since July of 2006 but has gone undefeated in his professional career with all of his bouts being finished by knockout.

Also scheduled for the card is showdown between two highly regarded female fighters when professional boxer Elena “Baby Doll” Reid and the Greg Jackson trained Michelle “The Karate Hottie” Watterson square off in what is sure to be a firework filled fight.

SNMMA’s “Extreme Beatdown” also has several fighters from the illustrious Arizona Combat Sports academy scheduled for the undercard such as the tougher than nails Jesse Forbes and explosive banger Ray Steinbeiss. AZCS is home to Ryan Bader, CB Dolloway, Jamie Varner, Carlos Condit, Jacob McClintock and many other of the sports top fighters.

    I’d like to see this guy get a chance to fight a higher level of competition. Seems like he has all the experience he needs to bring it to the next level. It’s time for him to sink or swim.
