Full cast for “The Ultimate Fighter 9” revealed

Yahoo! Sports revealed the entire cast for the upcoming ninth season of The Ultimate Fighter: The U.S. vs. the U.K.

TUF 9 will premiere on Spike TV on Wednesday, April 1 at 10 p.m. ET and will feature eight U.S.-based fighters comprised of lightweight and welterweight competitors taking on an eight-man squad comprised of U.K.-based fighters.

Each team will have four lightweight and four welterweight representatives. In order to make the final teams, fighters had to win a qualifying bout before advancing to the final cast. Qualifying fights will be shown during the first two weeks of TUF.

Serving as the coach of the U.S. team will be former PRIDE middleweight and welterweight champion Dan Henderson with the U.K. team being captained by The Ultimate Fighter season three light heavyweight winner Michael Bisping.

Henderson and Bisping’s turns on TUF 9 is expected to culminate with a head-to-head middleweight matchup on July 11 at UFC 100.

    What I’ve heard is that someone doesn’t make weight or gets injured and he takes that guy’s place.
